in the magazine it says
"is being considered for a spot on staff at Teen Vogue"
does this mean that she might not get it? or that she got it and they don't want to ruin any of the shows plot lines?
this whle thing strikes me as really wierd, a circle of selfpromotion. teen vogue got increased sales from the show, they use their increased newstand presence to promote the show which will further promote their own magazine?
what other magazine would put their own employees on it's cover?

or you could simply discern that there's a new season of the hills coming up, and teen vogue just couldn't pass up the chance to partake in a little nepotism....but in all seriousness, is there really a whole lot of doubt about her getting the job? i mean, she's a character on a tv show, a large portion of which takes place within the confines of teen vogue's offices...you really think they'll let her go?

If you look at the page with all that has all the names of all the editors in Teen Vogue, Emily Weiss (the girl who was competing with Whitney for the job) has had her name under the "Contributor" section for quite some time now. MTV is just trying to keep viewers in suspense since Whitney will get the job she applied for and Emily got some other job or vice versa.

Emily is the fashion assistant at W Magazine. The "fashion contributor" job is a very loose position that encompasses longterm interns, teen contributors, frequent stylists, and Bee Shaffer, so for Whitney to be added to the masthead, among all those other stylish girls, doesn't seem like a huge deal. I'm sure she'll get it.

Sadly, all it said was that she was "competing for" a job with Teen Vogue, or something to that effect. And is it just me, or does she look much thinner than she did on the show? Or like she had something "done"?
