Dear Cliche,
Nice work - you have found out the lions share of how lazy and stupid and easy to satsify the makers and users of corporate communications have become. These images along side the use of Power Point now make up 98% of all corporate packaging
( you might add the high concept pictures of chess pieces, cardboard puzzels, gears and my all time knuckleheaded favorite - people leaning over a desk with wonder and surprise, pointing at a piece of paper)
At what point does being familiar, understood and safe fail to communicate ?
We are a truely failed people when we do our messaging with visual wallpaper
