Warren Buffett Lunches With Unknown Bidder

buffett.jpgSo it looks like the winner of the eBay charity auction was "fastisslow"--a mysterious bidder who spent most of the auction in the lead spot. The final bid was $620,100. Last year the winning bid was $351,100.

He was a student in my tautology class that never listened.

Btw: perhaps over steak and potatoes, Buffett will be giving a lesson on how to evaluate something and then pay a proper price for it.

If that's the case, maybe this fastisslow character, whoever it is, will not be bidding next year.

Anyway, does this mean Buffett will start auctioning off lunches with himself all the time--given his newfound love with charity? If 25 cents feeds some big-eyed kid overseas, one lunch with Buffett amounts to a meal for 2.5 million children. I hope it's tasty.
