The bisexuality shouldn't matter. The fact that his lies grew out of hand until they approached the illegal should. The book press release was a score, this is just slung mud.

i heard he killed 24 ninjas in a cave. that's badass no matter if he and/or the ninjas were/are bisexual.

and i seriously doubt levin has anything against any sexual orientation. we're all funny in our different little ways, which she explores 5 out of 7 days a week in exquisite humor with no hard feelings.

you never know, one day he might dance and slalom his way into your office, while benchpressing almost 500 pounds with the help of 3 other people, serving a tennis ball out of your field of vision, and breaking multiple bricks with his bare hands while most of his body is(oddly enough) off-camera.

one thing is for sure, if none of this ibanking stuff pans out for him, he can always fall back on his career as any one of at least 4 professional athletes. I wish I had that kind of flexibility in my life...

Christ, do I hate cowardly anonymous commentors who insult everyone. And I do mean cowardly. Could there be a lower form of life?

Read it again, Anon-Douche. She uses the word twice, puts it in caps and adds an explanation point the second time. She was using it the way a seventh-grader uses words like "gay" or "fag" for cheap effect from prejudice.

But my issue is, IT'S NOT REVELENT to Aleksey's (which she spells two different ways) greater transgressions. This has nothing to do with his lies or potential fraud.

Besides, there are so many doubts about this piece's authenticity it didn't deserve to be posted. DealBreaker only proves it has low standards by publishing crap like this and continuing this story which is at best periperal to what it's supposed to be covering.

clearly you guys are missing the point of the post. it is not to discuss aleksey's sexual prefence, per se, but meerly to point out the fact that because he is bisexual he is available for anyone and everyone to date. nate, you are correct in pointing out that that has nothing to do with his fraud, but for those of us who are now obsessed with aleksey it is a gift from god that we can all date him.

We thought it was entertaining and relevant. Like so much about Aleksey, it's hard to tell the fact from the fiction. And as Bess's post made clear, there is good reason to believe that this profile is not at all an authentic creation of our man at Yale. Which makes it even more newsworthy, since the possibility that people are putting up fake Aleksey stuff is news in itself.

And, come on, do you really think that post was somehow hating on bisexuals? Read it again, this time with your sense of humor in the "on" position.

did you ever think she purposely spelled his name "Aleksie" to make it sound "cute"? because that would be appalling, she's never altered someone's name to make it funnier or more familiar using a suffix. ever. certainly never in her planespotting posts.

i think you're secretly in love with her and can't come to terms with it.

and i sure hate aleksey too, he's provided me with nothing but entertainment ever since i heard about him. that bastard. and the thing is he's going to get away scot free, my god, it's unbelievable.

i'm surprised some people are so quick to assume that they know levin's intentions are malignant; i think that could be called "prejudice" in some circles. no judgment on aleksey nor any other sexual orientation is made in the piece; if anything it's positive, because if this information is true (which the piece itself even doubts) more people can be tenderly caressed by his patented kung fu grip.

by the way levin, i see one of your windows is open to the US version of "The Office." great show, and Ricky Gervais makes sure it keeps the spirit of the original British version.

You have to know that every person at Yale knows about Aleksey. Then again, he's been known as a liar since BEFORE he got to Yale. How does one reconcile with that? Perhaps he's achieved the Tom Cruise-level of Scientology and totally mastered the reactive mind! He has to feel stupid, maybe he thinks it's a CIA/KGB/GRU orchestrated smear campaign since he was appointed Ambassador to Russia.
